Chili (Edit)

  • For thicker chili, continue simmering and stirring occasionally until mixture reaches desired consistency.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger

  • 1 large onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes, finely diced and NOT drained

  • 1 red bell pepper, blended/pureed

  • 1 orange bell pepper, blended/pureed

  • 1 cup of celery, diced

  • 2-3 Tbsp chili powder

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp red pepper sauce (optional)

  • 1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans

Directions

  • Brown hamburger with onion and garlic in saucepan, then drain excess grease.

  • Stir in remaining ingredients except kidney beans.

  • Heat to boiling then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour.

  • Stir in beans, heat to boiling, then reduce heat and simmer until hot (about 15 minutes).
