- For thicker chili, continue simmering and stirring occasionally until mixture reaches desired consistency.

Ingredients
1 lb hamburger
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes, finely diced and NOT drained
1 red bell pepper, blended/pureed
1 orange bell pepper, blended/pureed
1 cup of celery, diced
2-3 Tbsp chili powder
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp red pepper sauce (optional)
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans
Directions
Brown hamburger with onion and garlic in saucepan, then drain excess grease.
Stir in remaining ingredients except kidney beans.
Heat to boiling then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour.
Stir in beans, heat to boiling, then reduce heat and simmer until hot (about 15 minutes).
