No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies (Edit)

If you prefer more dry cookies, gradually add oatmeal until the mixture reaches your desired consistency. The more oatmeal you add, the drier the cookie.

Yield

2 dozen cookies

Ingredients

  • 4 cup sugar

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup butter

  • ½ cup cocoa powder

  • 1 cup peanut butter

  • 5 cup rolled oats

  • 1 Tbsp vanilla

Directions

  • Bring first four ingredients to a rolling boil, then boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

  • Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Stir until homogenous.

  • Drop a spoonful of mixture onto waxed paper ~1½ inches apart to create “cookies.”

  • Allow to cool before eating.
